Section 01A fortnight to change your mind
Decide Hacked.Help was not what you needed and say so inside fourteen days of the opening charge, and that first month goes back in full. There is no form to complete, no conversation to sit through, and no obligation to have switched anything on.
People find this site during a genuinely bad week, and a bad week is not when anybody makes their most measured purchasing decision. We would sooner return the money than hold somebody to a choice made while the building was on fire.
Section 02Once the window closes
Stop any time you wish. Stopping switches off the automatic renewal. The month already bought is still yours, and every control keeps running until it expires rather than dying at the instant you press the button. We do not split months, with two exceptions that we grant without any argument at all:
- Wherever a law says you are owed money back.
- Wherever the charge was a mistake at our end. A quantity typed wrong, an invoice raised twice, a line you stopped that renewed anyway. All of that comes back whole.
Section 03What cancelling does to your protection
Refunding a line ends the protection it paid for. Agents go quiet, the desk stops watching, and anything sitting in a vault under a cancelled backup line is destroyed on our vendors' deprovisioning timetable.
If there is still something in a vault you want, pull it out before you cancel. Ask and we will keep the line breathing long enough for you to finish, which is a request nobody here has ever turned down.
Section 04Making the request
Write to support@hacked.help from the address on the account, quoting the receipt or the invoice number, or raise it as a case in the client portal. The money goes back down the same route it came, and most banks surface it inside a week or so.
